I don't know why I've underestimated this band so much, but Grandaddy is amazing. ( music babbling ahead )

Ooo, I like that track! It vaguely reminds me of Sean Lennon and Radiohead, but they're really an entirely different sound. -track is downloaded- I shall try this "Grandaddy" group out; what tracks should I listen to first?

You know, I could make some sort of grandma joke out of all this, but I'm going to be the better (wo)man. Yeah. Yeaaaaah.

YEAH YEAH ISN'T THE ALBUM GREAT? I still don't know if it compares to Parachutes, but it's fantastic! Gaaaah, I have a major weakness for traditional foreign music played alongside modern music. (That drum!! I love that drum!!)

That, and violins. I hope the man I fall in love with and make babies with plays the violin.

Ughhh sorry. imeem is pretty weird about that. I should put a new mix together for you and MgM. I know it's not as good as having the actual .mp3 files, but I updated my muxtape recently.

I would listen to either "Skateboarding Saves Me Twice" or "A.M. 180." They're more upbeat. Grandaddy is kind of "chill" band, which I really dig since I've been listening to high-energy electropop-type stuff lately.

LOL. Thank you for that.

It really is great! And I totally agree with the traditional/modern mixture bit. I don't like it as much as Parachutes, but it's hard to compare them anyway because they're pretty different.
