http://tagger.steve.museum/ - a social tagging project to label museum pieces from several collections. Addicting, because once you finish tagging an item, another art piece appears. Everything from japanese watercolor scenes to Picasso - and nothing I've ever seen in a book or gallery.

Truth: I've never had a Mallomar. Or really even been offered the chance. This will change.

Is anyone else having a hard time with flickr images? None of them will load for me, not via imbedding in LJ or at the Flickr site itself ... haven't changed CSS lately or anything else. Ideas?

Interwebs: is there a site where I can create and annotate a large map (region scale)?

I'm looking for something like a gooey GIS, where I can click on a city or a site and add a note, maybe a link to a journal article from that region or a cool hostel. Does such a site exist? Does Google let me make my own map and edit it, with multiple waypoints
