Hello - I have been trying to figure out a problem I was having with friends not being able to read locked posts, but I think it's all taken care of.

Not much has been happening. Just work, hence no posts. We are trying to fix the house up before August, like painting, etc., so we have been mainly trying to make decisions on that.

Today is international women's day. In the US, I never heard of it, and I don't think people celebrate it, but to P., he calls his mom, sister, and grandmother every year. Last year, I think he forgot, and his mom was very upset. Anyway, this year, he surprised me with taking me out to dinner to celebrate it. It was very sweet. I am very lucky. ( Read more... )

Another pregnancy quirk. People lose eye contact with you - their eyes always travel to the belly. I'm sure it's totally unconcious.

Oh, got told again by the same lady as before how "pregnant I was getting".

So, since my life revolves a little bit around the peanut right now, let me explain an odd thing that I still haven't quite figured out. Everyone says pregnancy is 9 months. Some people say it's really 10 months (10 months if you think of 1 month as being 4 weeks). The actual medical definition is that pregnancy is 40 weeks, so in a way, I ( Read more... )

Wow, well, I will have to catch up on the last 2 months. Since my last post was right before Thanksgiving, things have been just hectic. I had Thanksgiving hosted at our new house, and then shortly after had a business conference to attend, followed by Christmas and then New Year's. In between, we had house renovations. It's Sunday morning, and it's 7:00 AM. I couldn't sleep anymore! I guess it's finally happened - getting up for work at 5:00 AM (to be in at 7:00 AM) takes its toll.
