Yeah, but some people still don't like it, which is understandable. I hate fics where it's done as a stand alone - I wrote it as the psychological ramifications the show never dealt with. The writers did it as funny ha ha, which made the ep kinda like badfic.

Exactly. Although I didn't really mind the humour. My real complaint was that they acted like there were no repercussions beyond that episode.

very well written story, how he starts to feel nothing from the moment they are unable to find the Xyrillian's. No one understanding his choice in giving away the baby, or that he made an honest mistake. No friends to turn to, his family wiped out... *hugs Trip* I still love you!
