Drabble:

Unlocking her manacles he had told her she could be so much more. That she could be more than a soldier, more than duty. He was right of course, but with him gone she feels like she has lost everything. Her struggle for change doesn't matter anymore when he isn't by her side. Her blood and breeding is all she has left. So she puts on the leather vest, pulls her hair back into a tight braid and holsters her gun. A soldier is never without her weapon. And that's all she is now, a soldier.

She doesn't look back.

Team Name: SIDEKICK!
Name of show: Fringe SPOILERS for both seasons
every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end
Drabble:
It happens while they're searching for a way to crossover.

Astrid nudges Peter's shoulder and says, "We'll get her back."

Peter leans against her with a sigh. "I have no doubt. But at what cost?"

She doesn't know what to say. False assurances won't help because they both know that the worlds work in exchanges; something does not come from nothing.

"We'll do it," he murmurs. It sounds like a plea. Astrid responds by kissing him. She pulls back almost immediately, apology ready, but Peter embraces her. "Stay with me."

Not planning to leave, she thinks, and kisses him again.

Totally the short-short version of this. Hoping to fix it up to something slightly more coherent.

Team Name: Villain
Name of show: SGA
Drabble:
John had his first helicopter ride when he was ten, he’d been nervous, slightly nauseous and terrified he would embarrass himself by throwing up. It hadn’t happened, instead he’d felt free for the first time in his life. In the instant they’d left the ground his whole life had changed, he knew what he wanted to do. It was always like that for him; the fear, the discovery, and the knowledge that this was what he wanted to do/be/have for the rest of his life. Even knowing this about himself he was still thrown by his instantaneous obsession with Rodney.

He stepped out of the TARDIS. He loved landing somewhere new. He loved even more BEING someone new. The streets were empty. There was snow. He stand in front of a window to see his new face. Definitely different. It was always hard, to regenerate. He didn’t know where he was. He didn’t mind. It was weird, having to figure yourself out all over again. Figure it all out before going back to save universes. Something was different. Or maybe he just felt out of place. He couldn’t judge whether it was him or the world around that had changed.

Drabble: A Warrior: that’s what I was. It defined me, shaped my path, and provided me with a means to help my people. But I see Delenn standing there in the Starfire Wheel, her skin burning red with righteousness… and I realise that a Warrior is not who I will be.

She is not our caste, yet her honour is greater than that of our leader. He has left the circle, a coward of our people. I realise now the calling of my heart. I am what she is, and I cannot let her leave our people. I die Religious Caste.
