The good news is, I got the job.

The bad news is the pay. Eeuuuugh. Ordinarily I'd say no, thanks, but the economy being the way that it is, I didn't - which of course is precisely why they lowballed me like that. It is a significant pay cut, and it's on a 1099, and it's in Alexandria.

I'm taking it and I'm still looking.

I intend to, but it's still a production: MARC to Union Station, Red Line to Metro Center, Blue Line to Pentagon City (or Red Line to Gallery Place, Yellow Line to Pentagon City), and corporate shuttle from there.
