What: After being kidnapped and tortured by Bellatrix Lestrange, Tonks is finally free.

[whether the others - allen, arthur, and roxas - are prepared or not, shirley is in her way. her magic comes easily, and whatever may be required to heal tonks is not the issue; nor is the possibility tonks may die by her fellow scorched's hands. the consequences, though (that bellatrix will think herself victorious, that dende will not say his goodbyes easily, that arthur will have new burdens - remus), those are things shirley is prepared for and isn't prepared for. even with her age, there is no way to truly be, but time cannot be wasted.

even so, she hadn't hurried in her travel from lilly's home to the clinic. had been slow and patient in her orders for the other staff. had entered a private patient room, quietly. now, it's a matter of waiting.]

[And look who's just SCAMPERING AT TOP SPEED down those hallways, slipping and sliding on the slick floor before he FINALLY comes BURSTING through the door where he sensed Shirley]

MS. TONKS I'M HERE!

[He stands there looking rather confused. He's in his "adventure gear" which pretty much means he's got a small turban-like wrap around his head and, oddly enough, a bag of tomatoes tied to his sash (hey she might REALLY like tomatoes, they're always good for adventure)]

Where's Ms. Tonks?

[...hi there, dende. for a moment, shirley only stares at him, lips pursed and eyebrows raised. really, with the way he had replied to her over the forge, she should have expected this. ...it's still surprising, though.]

She will be here soon.

[beyond the doorway, she can hear some staffers complaining about the disruption.]

[Dende pauses to look up at Shirley a bit deadpan and out of breath as he tries to register the "Tonks isn't here" bit... he still looks around the room anyway. She could just be hiding.]

...Is somebody helping her?! If she's hurt we should be going to her!

[Translation: Oh please don't make me wait.]

Allen and Roxas are helping her.

[too bad. you gotta wait, little man.]

[Dende hangs his head, and goes to sulkily climb up on a chair to wait. Of course not even an entire minute passes before he starts getting fidgety and squirmy. This was CLEARLY taking too long...]

Is she here yet?

[shirley glances at the room's window. not for allen or roxas, though.]

Have patience, little one.

[ When she is brought in by Roxas and Allen, she is barely recognizable. Her brown hair is ratted and matted and covers her face. Though still alive, she doesn't move. Tonks doesn't given any indication that she's conscious or aware of her surroundings. ]

Uwah! Ms. Tonks!

[Dende runs up to her]

I um... w-we should lay her down s-somewhere!

[While his healing skills are AMAZING... his medical common sense doesn't go much farther then this...]

[luckily, shirley's healing power is matched by her knowledge, and she indicates to the lone bed in the room. though, she isn't concerned by tonks's possible injuries - nothing she and dende can't heal. it's just about everything else. nonetheless, the unconscious woman is placed on the bed.]

[ There is a lot to heal. Malnourishment. Infection. Dehydration. Cuts, some of them deep. Even if all that can be healed, she's not going to wake up.

She's not ready for that. ]

[Dende scurries over to the bed, and floats up on it, getting right next to Tonks. He holds his hands out over her and closes his eyes to concentrate. He was going to have a word with Ms. Tonks when she did wake up (because he's not going anywhere until she does) about how often he's healing her. She needs to not go out as much.

In a few moments a faint white light emits from his hands and envelopes Tonks. Soon, the physical injuries and infections begin to fade away. While he couldn't heal away a need for food and water, he could restore her energy so that she could hold out longer against them. The light fades... but her clothes are still... all dirty and torn up... well nothing a little magic materialization couldn't fix. He points his finger at her and all of the sudden he clothes are as good as new! The little Namekian gives a satisfied nod and looked up at Shirley with a big smile]

There! All better!

[ Nymphadora wakes up screaming. ]

No. No! NO NO NO NO!NO!

[ The room shakes as her eyes open and she focuses on Dende. ]

Get him out of here! Shirley you promised! GET HIM OUT OF HERE!

[ She scrambles off of the bed. Tonks takes shelter in the corner of the room. She draws her knees to her chest looking every bit the caged animal. She has her wand clutched, her fingers are white from the pressure that's applied. ]

GO!

[ The room shakes again. ]
