Kujo-san-- [She's not sure what to say, so she reaches out to turn the forge to video. She burrowed underneath her covers, her hair loose to cover her missing eye.
Chrome says nothing for a long moment, before she gives a little sigh]
I don't hold a grudge. They're happy now-- I suppose. I left them a long time ago...
[It's apparently a bad time to have been checking the network. Ugh.
This makes him feel sick. True, he doesn't even remember his own parents anymore, but...to treat a child like this--one's own child--is nothing short of disgusting.]
Pathetic.
[He doesn't mean you, Chrome, but Scar is not so good with words.]
A person so callous towards their own flesh and blood does not deserve to have any they would call 'family.'
[He'd like to show this woman, how it feels to have everything one does care about stripped forcibly away. If this person is even capable of caring in the first place.]
[She's not sure what to say at first, not sure what excuses to make if at all]
...Both of us are better off now. I don't... even think of them. And they are happy, wrapped up in their glamorous lives. I can't blame them, for wanting to get rid of someone like me.
[She doesn't hold a grudge--can't, it goes against her very nature] And because of this, I was able to meet Mukuro-sama. So I'm not... usually bothered.

[ While he may not know the girl personally, just watching this is rather heart-wrenching for him.
The idea that someone's parents could be so cruel and heartless to their own daughter was painful and the way they regarded her and talked about her as if she wasn't even there was almost too much. However, the fact that someone was able to save her and keep her alive was a relief in itself; it was as if that meeting came at just that right coincidental time.
Liam couldn't help but hesitate a moment afterward, offering a soft, sad smile. It takes a second to find the right words he wants to say but he does settle on one thing. ]
Nobody should have to feel unloved by their family. It may not be much, but I am sorry you had to feel that pain, miss.

[ A polite nod of his head follows her thanks, that smile still in place. This wasn't something he could ignore, after all. ]
You're quite welcome.
[ Though hearing her say it like that was disheartening and it just... didn't sit right with him, his brows knitting together into a small frown ]
It wasn't a bother at all.
Though why would you not blame them? There's nothing wrong with you and they had treated you like some kind of burden in their lives. No respectable parents should ever treat their daughter in such a way.
[She's quiet a moment, thinking carefully] If they loved me and cared for me, as parents should... I would not be the person I am today.
'Nagi'--the old me... She was... weak. [For lack of a better word] I've changed for the better.
The family I have now-- Mukuro-sama, Boss, and the others... I wouldn't have been able to meet them, if my parents didn't cast me aside. For that I thank them, and I forgive them.
[Another small pause, and she adds quietly] And I... do not know how to hold a grudge.
[She's surprised and interested enough to answER,/small>]
Ah-- yes. That's like... Mukuro-sama. But he's not trapped in a puzzle. [Chrome pauses, unsure how to explain it, exactly] But he takes over my body sometimes to do things, or if I'm in danger... [Which almost got him killed once but that's another story]
[Hearing a parent say that about their own child doesn't really sit well with him, especially because his own mother sacrificed herself to save him. This sort of thing just kicks his protective 'big brother' instinct on.]
Don't ever think that nobody needs you, and don't let anybody write you off because they think you're different. And if anybody here gives you any shit, they'll have to answer to me.
[...and don't think he won't enforce that! He tends to get himself into a lot of trouble on account of others...]
[Maybe at another time, if she wasn't feeling so tired and awkward over this whole thing, she'd protest more. But for now, she's willing to just let it go and accept it] I... Thank you...
Mukuro-sama saved my life. My loyalty to him won't waiver. [She can't exactly say Mukuro's friendly or kind or anything because he's. Really not. He's kind of a dick, really, but he's always been gentler and nicer with Chrome, so??]
...It's hard to explain our bond, I think... But I know what I'm doing.

You share your body with someone else too?

[He holds up the puzzle on it's chain]
When I solved the Sennen Puzzle, I released the spirit that was trapped inside. We share my body as a way for him to interact with the outside world.

...and be careful with the whole body timeshare thing. Up until recently, I had two of 'em, and the one wasn't exactly friendly.
