Being I was there with you on that first day, I say keep going straight. If the cars are turning into the school then it shouldnt matter if you go straight. Next time the teacher wants to complain to you about it, ask him if he will pay you for gas being that you are wasting it to go out of your way just because the sign says so.
Is it against the law to travel 1 mile over the speed limit.......yes......
Do cops write a speeding ticket to everybody that is going 1 mile over the speed limit.........I would think that not many do........because even the cops use common sense......even if somebody is breaking the law by being 1 mile over the speed limit.........
Well, I'm one of the last cars to arrive........most everybody is already gone..........
So, if that guy thinks he "won" by waiting around to make me turn right.........
I will turn right........but, I will consider it a "win" for me..........because he will be the one standing in the up-coming cold weather..........and I think I will roll down my window and say, "Thanks for waiting in the cold for me."
Let's see what you may be teaching Avery or Adam (you didn't specify which kid)
1. It is okay to break the law when it is convenient for you. 2. It is okay to disrespect and ignore teachers.
I break the law by speeding often. So I can't say much about number one. It is something I'm working on too.
Number 2 is a big deal to me.
I know it is a common sense issue and is stupid to have to turn but the lessons you may be teaching your son could have bad consequences later on. And the teacher could report you to a police officer or the principal...who could probably threaten you with something like child endangerment. They will do it just to prove a point.
During LEAP testing, the teachers told us they were so glad to have our smart kids in their school to help get high test scores..........as schools depend on good grades and high scores for money grants and such........
I'm thinking of putting them in another school........one that teaches common sense.........see how they would like that.........
