The conference call at work today was a thinly veiled message.
The message was to lie to clients and to string them along so that we can use their names and stories to attempt to get funding for programs that they wouldn't qualify for anyway.
I'm really stressed out and not liking this at all. -

I'm just now getting the chance to update so I apologize for the lateness, but since yesterday morning, Trent & I have been at Ocean Spring's hospital. Trent was admitted with dehydration & walking pneumonia, which is a different type than the pneumonia he had a month ago. Prayers/good thoughts please: Last night Trent went by ambulance from Ocean Springs hospital to the University of South Alabama Women and Children's Center. So far, we know that he has pneumonia and low pulse ox. Tony is with him and I'll be going later today. His pulse ox is rising but with the past heart surgery and current slight aortic valve ( Read more... ) -

Life changes in an instant
Today, my work asked for volunteers to go to Haiti for relief work. I called Tony and asked what he thought of me volunteering. Amazing as always, he said "Do it." So I did. Now I just need a passport. Unfortunately it takes 4-6 weeks for it to come in and the expedited passport costs a bit more than I can afford. Work will pay for the trip, ( Read more... ) -
