This marks the first week of my latest effort to fight back my anxiety and panic attacks and be more public. I have tried before, in various states of medication, and have never quite "succeeded." someone wrote a sherlock version of "pumped up kicks" and i've already had THAT stuck in my head for a month, but thanks for the boost :p

i look forward to the day when my email, twitter, tumblr, lj, and apparently brain all explode with news about RoT, but in the meantime i'm glad to see you back around the internets!

Good luck with the latest attempt. As someone whose depression as recently come roaring back, I know it's not the easiest thing in the world to do, but it's good to know that you're currently in a place where you can try again. Your fans really appreciate the stuff you've been posting lately.

Well, except that song you just posted. That I do not appreciate at all. I'm going to be waking up singing this, wishing a creepy Japanese ghost would put me out of my misery.

That song (and actually, several others from the album in recurring roles), has been earwormed for months now. FtP played at ACL last summer here in town, and it's been firmly planted ever since. It has, in fact, infected my children. Nothing like hearing the innocent voices of a 6 and 7 year old cheerfully belting "better run, better run, outrun my gun" in the backseat to wonder where you went wrong in life.
