Bubble Tape is six feet of bubble gum for you, not them. But who are they? And if the bubble gum is for me, does that exclude me from other groups who could be "they?" Then what happens to the bubble gum?

Here's what I think, Munt. The slogan just says that you can only eat the gum if it's yours. So if someone else has some and you don't, you are part of the "them" that the gum is not for. People think just because you have six feet of gum you should be willing to share but that thinking is incorrect in the context of the slogan.
