Here's my summer favorite TV show... I should be there... I'd be great... I am only okay with coming up with ideas from scratch... I can go far when given a little to work off of.  So far... I'd be there in round 2... I would have been fine with the pitch... as long as my nerves did not get to me.  That's what scotch is made for...

Brendan just informed me that Peter Parker really is Spiderman.

We then had a long conversation about super heroes and secret identities... and that all super heroes have them.  He promised not to tell anyone, believing that he is the only one that figured this out.

He did say that he was going to tell Mom later today, because he trusts her.

So Jen, who has had laryngitis all weekend, was a little miffed when our child's namesake decided to leave the Red Wings.  So Jen wanted a new name...

So I asked Brendan what his name should be... he said Butt.

He later added Lightning McQueen, which was narrowed down to just McQueen.

So please refer to our first born as Butt McQueen Cook from now on.
