Starting with about 7,500 FPPs and absolutely no cash, I now have $211 in my Stars account. It's not that difficult. Here's the formula (courtesy of Oscar, who found a thread on 2+2 of a guy who did the same with stunning success ( Read more... )

Nice. How much did you accumulate from the satellites? Your 7500 FPPs should be worth about $100 (it seems that they are worth about $.015 for each FPP).

You should track down Chris Ferguson's posts over on FullTilt about how he went from $0 to $20k, starting with freerolls.

Well, there was a promotion in May. $24 for a certain number of points, and $16 for a lesser number of points. you could only do each of them once. so I took advantage of that. Then I earned T$99 and started playing the $3.40 Turbo SNGs.

Ferguson's posts inspired me to do this in the first place, plus the thread that Oscar showed me on 2+2.

Well, thanks for the heads up.

I found just over 700 FPP in my stars account, bought in to one of those turbos for 70 points, and had my T$11 in about 50 minutes.

You left out the step of playing 33 2x while heads up, flopping sets both times, and having them hold up, but of course, that won't happen every day.

Btw, I had the soldering gun out this weekend. Fixed a microphone jack connection in about 2 minutes. I'm waiting for you to show up :-)

Good job dude. With 10 shots, 700 FPPs might be enough to turn it into something real.

I'll bring my headphones to BARGE is you bring your stuff!

I recommend the super soft $25 NLHE tables once you grind up a bit.
