I would like to see some civility in the way we debate politics. We treat every election as though if one candidate or another wins half the country should flee to Canada. It is appalling and strange to me that people can put ANYTHING before the rights of others. I understand that our country can't jump into every conflict around the world where rights are infringed upon, but within our own borders rights are voted away and I don't understand it. It seems like every day I hear about yet another amazing couple breaking up.
