I really like this. Your Sam POV is excellent and the mental image of Dean comforting that little girl is killing meeee. <3 Lovely writing, all-around.

Also, I don’t know if you’re cross-posting much, but you should consider posting this to hoodie_time if you’re so inclined. I know people would love it there.

Potholes are baaaaad....You wouldn't think a sick Dean and a worried Sam would make me smile, but it did. It so did. What a great brother moment. m :)

This is..just a cascade of marvelous images, with an almost happy ending. I love Sam's musings on monsters, victims and themselves, Dean with the little girl, and their argument at the end.

And I must call someone a douchecanoe at the earliest opportunity!
