On day four post-layoff, I was offered another job within my company. Similar role, different division. Apparently I was chosen because I come so highly recommended by my former team. It seems that hard work and efficient strategies do pay off.

Last night I finally got my new phone line hooked up. I did a fair amount of research (as I always do with big/significant purchases) and finally settled on Packet8. For $20/month I have unlimited calling to North America and Puerto Rico.
