The Outside Lands Festival in Golden Gate Park last weekend was a ton of fun. I scored a VIP pass at the last minute for cheap, saw 23 bands over 3 days (most of the bands I had never heard before), and sat in the sun eating delicious food and drinking bloody marys. Shrimp ceviche and jambalaya while watching titans of indie rock...yes!

so glad you had fun! True enjoyment of moments in crowds is rare for me too and it's great that the atmosphere permitted it -- I'm sure the surprisingly tasty-sounding food helped too.
