I came out of it feeling like I'd just had my ass kicked. I'll see it again, but not for a while. It was brutal.

Still have a DVD of Batman: Gotham Knights to watch though, that looks like it'll be great.

No, I mean, it was intense. I felt frustrated, burned up, used, like I'd just ground the best parts of myself up in a pyrrhic victory that meant just enough to keep me going, but not enough to be satisfying. I felt like in the end I would be consumed by my passions despite myself.

But then I get a little emotionally involved in the films I watch. And the above statement really speaks to a lot in my life right now, so I'm kinda primed for it.

Let's just say I felt less overwhelmed / beaten down after watching Door in the Floor, which absolutely destroyed me.

i hear nothing but good things about this movie. i think i'll wait for the hype to die down so I can watch it from some good seats without having to wait in line.

You have mad movie making skillz! I love the spoiler at the end, and I have no idea how you made that look so cool--but I also really liked the addition of the subtitles! You've got skillz!
