Hello. I was off Livejournal for a little while and meant to catch up, but I kept putting it off. Then aceofkittens mentioned Livejournal today and I had to go back and read all her recent entries. Volunteering time and/or donating money
What do you think are the best causes to support, and why are they important?
There are many good works to choose from. Do you help people far away, people who are close, future people, little people, suffering people...?

Four Letter Words
I want to decorate my wall with a word. I'd love it to be smart or thoughtful. Initially I chose FREE, but that later felt a litle cheesy.

The Outside Lands Festival in Golden Gate Park last weekend was a ton of fun. I scored a VIP pass at the last minute for cheap, saw 23 bands over 3 days (most of the bands I had never heard before), and sat in the sun eating delicious food and drinking bloody marys. Shrimp ceviche and jambalaya while watching titans of indie rock...yes!
