OMG!!! I ACTUALLY PASSED THE TEXAS BAR EXAM!!!!!! I'm a real attorney now!!! (well, I have to get sworn in or whatever, then they send me this nifty gold Bar card, but

I know you can become licensed without going, but it looks like it sure makes life easier if you just go and get all the paying-of-the-fees and such done while there. Plus it sounds empowering, you know? ;) - I think you're right though, most people go.

I'm going because somehow my mom found out that a family we are close to in Canada are traveling all the way to Chicago to see their son sworn in, so, of course, that means we have to do the same! lol.
