Well, our second kitty died last night. We've had her for twelve years, which is a good long life for a cat. It's also over half of mine, and it feels strange without her. Today Virginia Tech was the site of the deadliest mass campus shooting in US history.

So I don't actually go to Virginia Tech, but in my little high school out in the boonies it was one of those general schools that a hoard of seniors would lump to. It's close, familiar, and I know people there. This is downright nerve-wracking.
