The night before last, at around 10PM, I was startled out of bed by screams. A woman in the rental space next door was screaming "no" and "help" in amongst a lot of unintelligible noise. Yes, that would have left me shaking and freaked out, too. Especially with a child crying as a part of it. Eeek!

Well........that is one of the reasons why I left old Ft Misery many years ago. Fortunately for my older brother who is now 62 he finally moved from Charlotte county last week and moved to N Georgia. I quit watching the news 11 years ago when my daughter was born and do everything I can to avoid watching the tv news or even listening to anything in the way of local news if possible. Almost every second is turned into tragic stories and I don't want to hear anymore. I lay awake many nights worrying about my daughter and worrying about the future when she gets older and I am not able to watch over here near so much. The world has becomse such a evil horrible place at times that I bear to think about it. But, on the more positive side. I am good family and good friends to experience many good memories with and choose to focus on those as much as possible. Here is to your quick recovery of the events that have happened in your neighborhood and hopefully there wont be anymore incidents anytime soon. RDS
