First and most importantly, I'm working on a screenplay. Saw a solicitation asking for stories with a budget of $300,000 or less in which a fairy's the main character, so I'm going to see whether my fairies and their fairies are anything like each other.

Historic, but really difficult. Doesn't seem like there's a cut and dry easy call aside from "Anyone but that motherfucker." Don't envy you guys that one.

1) Definitely, definitely. I'm in no way saying that it's not a good deal. I'm just acknowledging all of the assheads who are currently saying "Oh, well. Doesn't really matter. Terrorism's still around. Suck it, B. Hussein Osama!"
2) The crazy is crazy. I've heard "awfully convenient," I've heard "been dead since Tora Bora and getting pulled out at just the right time," I've heard "not dead at all," and I've heard far too much "He didn't do it. The troops did it," which is disingenuous bullshit. If "the troops" had popped in and made a kill without orders and sanction, that'd be called a rogue operation. These are problems.
3) Wasn't he great? Restrained, focused. Good stuff.
4) Yep. Five horribly drunk men are dry-heaving for democracy right now. I raise a glass to them.
