Thank you all for the kind words about Sahara. It is weirdly hard to be without her, but the house hasn't been so clean in years.
Minerva is currently snoozing and appears totally unaffected. We'll see if that changes in a few days when she realizes Sahara is actually gone for good. -
Sahara
Had to put Sahara to sleep today. She threw a blood clot like Godfrey did and while she recovered enough to be out of immediate danger and could sort of hobble around, the doctors said she would never be well, had very limited pulse in her back end and had a 4 heart murmur on a scale that goes to 6. I am better than before but it goes very slowly. Which is irritating.
I should be playing a gig tonight, but didn't feel up to it.
Back to work on Monday, though. I simply have to no matter how tired I am. -

So that was odd and continues to be so
So, I've been working on getting some old novels I've written formatted into e-books. These were books that were a) sat on for a year by a publisher and then not bought due to the editor that liked me leaving the imprint and b)read by several publishers and rejected because "we can't figure out how to market it." I want to kick a puppy
I'm watching the news and that damned ASPCA ad is on again. You know the one. With the woman with the incredibly whiny voice. The one where she sounds like she's going to burst into tears at any second and they show the sad-eyed puppies ( Read more... ) -
So tired
Out of the past 48 hours, I have spent 9 actively playing music in public.
I am exhausted and my fingers hurt.
And tomorrow is back to work.
