Cooking
Tried to re-create Nana's Doughnuts today. They came out great, but not like hers, which were awesome and so dense that they drew all available light or something.
We also blew up the tiny deepfryer and had to finish in a fry pan on the stove.
Will have to do this again sometime. You just can't buy doughnuts like this at a store. -

Annoyed
I just can't seem to write. Anything. Every time I sit down and want to work on my civil war thing, I just can't seem to get anything going. I have even had great ideas for things to happen and I just can't seem to get it down ( Read more... ) -
Holy crap
It was a zillion degrees out a few hours ago. Now it is insanely windy and rainy and will be down to 65 tomorrow.
The weather this year is freaking me out, and I haven't even really been in danger like so many people.
Oh yeah, there is no global warming. You can't see it out your window or anything. -
Off for a while
Not that I post much any more, but heading off for vacation for a while. Be looking forward to the WisCon reports when I get back, along with everyone else probably.
Am hoping to get some work done on the novel, if I'm allowed. Am doing a huge amount of home improvement, so maybe I won't get a minute.
