I saw Sweeney Todd tonight.  I am continuously astonished by the depth shown by Depp and Bonham Carter.  Pulling off a role like this without any formal vocal training and still having control over facial and body expression is really damn impressive.  Also, things like the opening credits really show off Burton's vision and skills ( Read more... )

Oh SHIT.

It's open season on politicians right now and that means it's going to spill over into Nairobi.  So far, the capital has been buffered from most of the violence but if it's started in Woodley, it's only a matter of time before it begins in other, wealthier neighborhoods.
