Saw you over at the Frenzy, but missed being able to post there.
Anyhow, I love bad fanfic as well. I am usually the one to go into The Pit and sift through the trash and get rare gems for my friends to enjoy. Not a pretty job, but someone must do it!

Hi! I saw your post on Knitting, but I'm not a member there, just a 'watcher' so don't have posting rights. anyway, below is an answer to the question that you posted there. Also, I would like to friend you, will you friend me too?

There is a Japanese website - in English & some Japanese - called "The ABCs of Knitting". It has information about yarn, patterns and a whole page of knitting vocabulary - translating Japanese symbols into English, so that you can read what it says on the balls & skeins of yarn, the signs in your local yarn store, or the wonderful Japanese knitting books whose pictures tempt you. As you can tell, I love this site (and its very funny too! It used to be called "The ABS of knitting, until someone told them it wasn't an "S" sound but a "C" sound that was needed...) I've actually been able to translate my Japanese knitting and crochet patterns using this site.

No, I dont, sadly. For some reason I've always had a special connetion with japanese culture ever since I was a little girl. My sister spent a college semester abroad in Japan and has taken 3 years years of Japanese language, so she helps me with the knitting words too!

I would love to read of your day to day adventures in Japan! Even a trip to the grocery store would be fascinating to me.
