Two of my favorite bits:

Damn you, Asami Ryuichi, you would be the only one who gets turned on by getting Kung Fu to the balls!

So very true.

He had a way of blossoming even in the midst of the most difficult situations, like a tiny flower forcing its way up through a crack in the sidewalk, like the rugged edelweiss insisting on surviving at the top of a cold Alpine mountain.

Thanks, sweetie. I can't help it, I love metaphorical language. It's so... Iliadic. ^_~ I debated about that edelweiss line, because why the hell would Feilong know edelweiss?? But I couldn't find a Chinese equivalent, and even if there was one, no one would know what it was anyway...! So I just left it in. I saw a bumper sticker once that said "METAPHORS BE WITH YOU" Always wanted that one. ^_~

i think fei would have watched sound of music *coughs*
so he would know about edelweiss (which i happen to like
even if i havent actually seen one except for pics)

the simile is perfect for akihito.

OH..YAY!!!! *dances, hugs you* You UPDATED!! *grins* =] Woah... Asami kneeling before Fei is HUGE!! If that's not showing his love for Aki! *sighs*

I DO so love that "monkey steals the peach" move...LOL that is SO something Fei would know/do.. hehe

I'm glad you liked the scene with Asami kneeling. I was hesitant to put it in because I'm like, people will think it's OC...! But I really don't think so. He's proven now in canon what he's willing to go through for Aki, and also how he is willing and able to manipulate Feilong. He really is the master of being "seme even in an uke position". He's shown that beautifully in canon, so I didn't think it would be too far to go in fic.

hahaha, I know as soon as I saw that monkey move, I was like, ZOMG Fei...! Just seemed like something he would pull, LOL! ^_~

Awwww, Tao's afraid of Asami. Of course, I probably would be too if I was just a kid. ^_^ I love the interaction between Asami and Feilong in this chapter. Fei is so feisty. ^_~ And Asami yet again shows his true feelings for Akihito, not through words, but actions. Looking forward to more... perhaps soon? *hint, hint* :-P

I'm afraid of Asami! (in that scary!hot kinda way) I wouldn't want to be on the wrong end of his gun except in certain circumstances.

I love writing feisty!Fei! *giggles* I can't help it; my Fei muse is just so... effervescent. ^_~

Will try to update sooner rather than later... I'm in school and I have a lot of health problems, so RL kind of steamrolls me sometimes. But I will try my best. Thanks for reading...! ^_^

Thank you! Yeah, I know, it's like, priorities...! But to Asami's credit, at least he's taking it seriously this time. (okay, yes, I admit it, I had a bit of an issue with him not hustling his bunnies a little faster in canon! I was glad to see Aki yell at him to take some responsibility for it!)

Of course, the only way Asami knows how to communicate his concern is with a loaded gun, and of course we know how well that's going to go over with Feilong. And of course Fei is going to be all about concern for Akihito and not all about whether or not he can win an argument against Asami, because that's been his MO all along. *insert sarcasm here* Yes, we love our boys, every screwed up, ridiculous aspect of them...!
