a terrible social dilemma that happens all too often is having only one side of a story. when only part of a bridge can be seen, it's impossible to tell if the other end is burning. these situations lead to three ends. you could take chances, and go onto the bridge,which is fine, and you reach your field of flowers saftly. you could take the chance

you could always run full speed onto the bridge and jump up and down like a mad person and see what happens. Or you could choose a path away from the bridge and refuse to look back and doubt about what ifs and be content with your new path. :)

well never mind. Alas, life is rarely this straight-forward. but it would be nice if it was.
