I am thoroughly recommending Ulvstorps Spa any time you're in that neck of the woods! They also have a great sauna, massages and facials. But mostly there was this really really relaxing ambiance there, almost serene.

I KNOW, right?
I almost feel a little guilty for enjoying myself so, it was my second spa experience in my life, but it was by far the best!

I wonder if they have doctor fish treatment anywhere in the US...(regardless, I do genuinely hope you get to go to Scandinavia one day, I can only imagine the fantastic photos you'd take!)

love the candelabra with the white candles, so pretty. selma was also a lovely cat - does she live there or was she also a guest?

Selma was a guest, but she was also a friend of the family (and they knew her owners well), so she was very familiar with the hotel and because of this, plus her social and calm nature, she was allowed to roam a little freer than other newer kitties.

How's the Red Dwarf song go?

Goldfish shoals, nibbling at my toes
Fun, fun, fun in the sun, sun, sun.

The fish look a little tickly, but the place as a whole looks wonderful - snug, and warm, and clean, and inviting.

I remember that song! sealwhiskers January 18 2011, 18:46:05 UTC
To some the fish were tickly, my friend P giggled a lot and had little spazzy fits sometimes, she had MANY fishes on her feet. To me, it tickled sometimes, but mostly it felt interesting, and not at all unpleasant.
