it's been four months since alyssa broke up with me, and i swear i'm not a day closer to getting over her. i've tried pretty much everything. i've avoided songs that remind me of her, i've flirted (too much?) with other girls, i've avoided places that remind me of her, i've not hung out with her pretty much at all. we haven't even talked all that ( Read more... )

Perhaps she seems more attractive, etc. since she's no longer yours? That seems to often happen in such situations. Or perhaps it's like that line.."and don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone.."

i wonder if this who i think it is judging from the choice of song. i suppose what you've said is possible, but i always thought she was beautiful anyway. i also wouldn't say that i didn't know what i had. last year in maine, i'm pretty sure i knew she was perfect. i told her many times that she was, in fact, perfect for me. its just that it didn't sting then as it does now.
