We've had a weekend full of errands. On Saturday, Derrick and I went and got his car washed. The place did a great job, so we went back yesterday and got my car washed and vacuumed. Had a great presentation in class today--wasn't too worried about it, but I'm glad I didn't say anything stupid. Also got an extension on a big semesterlong project. I just figure it never hurts to ask, and when prof asked the class who needed extra time, everyone hesitantly raised their hands. I am a hero. WOOT

I'm not being vain. This never occurred to me last semester, or even this semester, until the past week. A student keeps staying after class to talk to me about stuff related to papers.
