I've been working as a caregiver at Bishop Place Senior Assisted Living, spending time with friends and family, and going to WSU football games. Everything is going well. I continue to work the graveyard shift at Bishop Place Assisted Living. Hopefully I won't work this schedule for much longer. I'm still looking into Americorps positions, but haven't found one that (a) I wan't to be apart of and (b) will start in a couple of months so I have some time to save up money. Other than that... As a treat to the interpretive staff at Zigzag, our supervisor Jeremy took us to climb Mt. Adams on Wednesday. It was awesome! We arrived at the trailhead Wednesday around 3:00pm and hiked three miles in until we reached an area where we could camp and climb the rest of the mountain from. So I keep getting nudged by Ruty to update so I guess I have no choice. I'm continuing to work at Bishop Place occuping my days with grumpy, whiny, old people. I'm waiting for my application to be processed by the Washington State Park Ranger humna resources department. Once they process my application I can continue the screening process.
