is a perennial fave, from my 43T days. It was my avatar on occasion. I love the contrast of the subject with the interior. It reminds me of the vibe in Venice. (The one in Italy, not California........though, that said, I suppose it also has a Venice CA vibe too. LOL)

I'd like my sunroom painted that colour, maybe with a moody ceiling.

That is probably my favorite color, in variations. (Maybe it is a Pisces thang?) God, a room that color......how divine!

I love when I look out my window at home, out between two of the nearby islands, and the sea is a variation of that color. It causes me to stand still in awe for a few moments. People who don't live on the coast never get to witness first hand the ocean's changing color, with weather, with temperature, with light, with whatever the sky is doing, with whatever is nearby and causing it to reflect and or absorb colors.

How far are you from the ocean? Can you see all that?

I have pottery that color and some clothes and baubles/bling. (Greenish turquoise vs. aqua blue turquoise.)

There is something about it that both pacifies and inspires me. It's a "tempest in a teacup" color.

I live on a lake. I don't think it's as powerful as the ocean unless I try to swim across it some day. But the lake has emotion, changing as it will from calm to moody to angry and back again. I like to visit its beaches at the far end of the city at this time of year. The gulls are anxious; winter is coming soon.

My sunroom faces south, towards the lake. It's painted a lighter version of those turquoise walls. There's a green-grey-blue balance. I have a small collection of aqua and turquoise McCoy pottery in there, mostly filled with balls of wool. I have a little collection of seaglass that both the sous chef and I collected many years ago.

The curtains that punctuate each corner of the windows are velvet, the colour of waves. There are gauzy white sheers like spindrift in between. There's a daybed with heaps of similarly aquatic-coloured cushions and pillows. It's a good place for knitting. :-)

Ah, yes! Of course! (I spaced, and had you placed too far east.) Big lakes are very like oceans, in some ways.

I have seen pictures of that pottery! Pottery, wool, seaglass, lake, velvet curtains, turquoise walls..........sounds like a lovely space to spend time.
