I had only been skimming LJ the last week or so, so please accept our (mine and Jim's) belated sympathies on your loss.

Thanks for your comment. Most of my LJ friends have either expressed their sympathies in person (because I was at Panthecon and so were they) or by phone. Its good to know I am not typing into the ether.
