My mother in law, Dorothea Conrad died this morning. I love her dearly and am furious that I was not able to see her in febuary. -

SWA has just canceled my flight for the FOURTH time. I know that I will never get to California again. Something will always intervene. I HATE snow. Groundhog Day
Well, everyone bailed for Brigid's Day. Darn. I miss the ringing of hammer on anvil, the smell of forge and candle, and most of all the reflections in a well. I will have to see if we retained our copy of the Carmina Gaedelica and read some old prayers to Brigid. -
Brigid's Day
auntiemater and I will be hosting a Brigid celebration at our house on monday evening. This is the time of year that I feel most hopeful and most fearful.

Car Troubles
The engine in our Escort died. This is the only car since we had to turn the Tracker back into the bank. Plus this would be my father's birthday. The world is full of suckage today. -
