I haven’t written a one shot in a while, and have been kind of absent from LJ. Thanks, college. So I decided it was time to write something besides an essay on dead poets. This part of the blog really bothered me, and I had to do something about it:

This is exactly what the show has been mising lately! Thank you for filling in the MerDer gap it was much needed.

I hope collage doesn't keep you too busy cause its this kind of writing that the fans need, not the insanely poor air time MreDer have been getting this season.

Yeah, the lack of MerDer these days is frustrating. I'd love to see more of them. I'm so glad you enjoyed this! I think all the fans would love scenes with them that lasted longer than 30 seconds. ;)

I'll definitely try to write more one shots! Grey's is much more fun than school. Haha. ;)

aw that was adorable, I wish we got something like that. And I agree about the blog, that part bugged and it also bugged that Mer forgave him so quickly, I wish she had let him apologize more but I love your ending, so awesome!

Yeah, I agree. Derek gets off way too easily all the time. It's very annoying. I mean, I get why he did it, but still. Mer should make him grovel sometimes, don't you think? ;) (Not that she made him grovel in this, but it would be nice to see. lol).

Oh, that was sweet and lovely and so necessary. Why oh why doesn't Shonda realize how ratings would improve if she'd just add a little more MerDer?

And I totally agree. I would love more MerDer time. Even just a minute or two extra would make all the difference. Screentime for them as a couple is rare these days. I wish they were more of the focus like they used to be. Sigh. Maybe we'll get lucky and the writers will listen to us. :)
