Thanks so much, Zaynab. It was hard for me to write. That season finale borderline traumatized me. I'm really hoping we get to see Meredith tell him, too. And yeah, it would be such a painful scene, but so important. That's what part two is going to be about. I have it all planned out; I just need to write it down (and find myself some more tissues. lol). Glad you liked this!

Aww, thanks so much Lexie! It was really sad writing it. Poor MerDer. I'm so upset. :'( But Shonda said in her interview with Ausiello that the miscarriage was important to their story, and now their baby storyline really begins. So we still need to have hope! :)

Aww, thanks Flor! I'm so glad you're enjoying it so far. It's so hard to write, too. Our poor MerDer. This was not a good day for them. :'( Hopefully I'll have the next part posted later on today!

Thank you for writing/sharing this cute story, Melissa. I was hoping for a fic, even a short one.
The finale was mind-blowing, but I'm still depressed :( I need a McBaby so much it hurts. I seriously hope we'll get one. And I do hope Mer tells Derek about the miscarriage. Don't want him to hear it from someone else.

Thanks so much, Sina! I'm glad you enjoyed this! Oh I know; that season finale was emotionally draining. I was hoping for a baby, too. But since reading Shonda's interview with Ausiello, I have much more hope that we'll see a baby happen one day. I really want Mer to tell him about the miscarriage, too. It's such an important thing, and she shouldn't have to deal with it alone.

I'm hoping to have the next chapter up sometime today! :)
