Aww, thank you! It's so hard to see them this sad. I'm writing part two right now, and crying my eyes out. lol.

It's such a beautiful song. I've had it on repeat all day. It's taken from the scene in Grey's where Meredith has the miscarriage. Thatwas so heartbreaking. Here are the lyrics (I just typed these out myself because I couldn't find them anywhere else, but they're accurate):

Thank you! I've heard it all day long too. It haunt me since that scene. English is not my native language so I had a little bit of a hard time understanding all of it.

I'm teary now, bb. See, Derek & I handle a crisis in a very similar way; we have our HOLY SHIT moment, and then we go into this weird calm space....so last night ( I ended up finding a live stream), I was in my weird calm space and now, I'm finally realizing that baby Shepherd died and you're making me tear up but your writing is so beautiful and I am adding this to my memories and I can't wait to read part 2.

yet, she loves it as much as she loves Derek. Seeing Mer be all happy mommy made it so much worse...she loved baby Shepherd already.

The baby that was created out of love, and died out of love.
Meredith willing to die for Derek....my god, that was one of the most beautiful things I have ever witnessed. "I pick you, I chose you, you don't get to die on me." OH, MAN...this is going to be a long, long summer/winter.

Thanks so much, Belle! ♥ I know, the SF was so sad. When Meredith lost the baby, I was so crushed. To me, that was the most tragic death that happened, because it was just so unexpected. You realize just how much she loved and wanted that baby, but it's too late. I cry just thinking about it. It's really a testament to Meredith and Derek, you know. That she was willing to take a bullet so he could live. GAH, SHONDA.

I know....the other deaths were completely horrible and unfair and it doesn't really make sense at the end of the day, but I guess, we knew people had to die, of course people were going to die in such a situation, so the deaths made some sort of sick sense...but a baby? A baby that hasn't even lived long enough for its father to know it exists? I just...I can't even...

I know, right? It's so horrible. :'( The fans, just like Mer, already fell in love with the baby. So when the baby dies, it's like... ugh, I can't even describe how crushed I was.

Yes, definitely! No one in my family watches the show anymore, so if I have you girls to fangirl/cry over things, I'd go insane. lol :P

I loved this, so much. For me, when she lost the baby - that was the hardest scene. Because when you feel like you know a character like Meredith, and we've seen her grow over these 6 years....ugh. It was heartbreaking. I got the weirdest feeling in my stomach when she said it out loud.
You really did Meredtih & Derek justice. ♥

I totally agree. Mer losing the babywas the most devastating part of the season finale. It's so obvious how much she wanted the baby, and when she gets that expression on her face while she's having the miscarriage, my heart just broke into a million pieces. :'(

Haha, actually McManus is the last name of the girl who wrote the song I used to the title. It was the song playing while Mer has the miscarriage on Grey's. The lyrics are really beautiful and I thought they worked well here. :)
