This was lovely. And bittersweet, because I have pretty much zero faith in Shonda at this point. Ugh. Something like this needs to happen, and soon. :(

ahh this is just perfect. PERFECT. derek really needs to be called out on his shit. webber already did but it didn't work. :/ so i really love that you had mer yell at him. i hope we get to see that in the who as well.

LOVED how you wrote their conversation. very sad. very true. very real. so refreshing.

Thank you so much, Lexie! I'm so glad you enjoyed this! And ITA about Derek. As much as I understand why he's upset, treating Mer like crap isn't going to make things any better. They just need to have a conversation and work things out, not just for them, but especially for Zola. I'd much prefer some yelling than the silent treatment. They just need to make up! Preferably sooner rather than later. Fingers crossed!

yep, i'm totally all for them making up asap. i don't care if they have to yell at each other for the whole episode just no more or this derek walking away crap. and maybe we could have some make-up sex thrown in there. lol

First of all, I haven't been on eljay for so long and I don't have any DerMerZola icon and that sucks! :(
That being said this one shot was amazing Missy. I so hope we'll see them talking in the next episode, they need to fix the mess they got themselves into. I hope it'll work out like it did in your story, it would be very amazing... they both made mistakes, cause if he had answered the damn phone he would have known about Zola and things wouldn't have spiralled out of control in the season finale. They are so perfect together and I want to see them happy in their house with the oh so adorable Zola! And maybe another baby too! :)

Aww, thank you, Francy! I'm so glad you enjoyed this! (And yes, you need to get a MerDer + Zola icon ASAP!) I really hope we get to see an actual, meaningful conversation, too. It's so much better than the silent treatment, which I'm afraid is probably going to be what happens. Sigh. They just need to be happy, and get Zola back. Is that too much to ask? :P
