A few months ago one of my younger coworkers said to me “No one used e-mail before 2000. ” I laughed at him, and explained that no only did we have email, but I had met my first husband through match.com in 1998.

aw, i love your posts. i hope you are just feeling meh today and will feel a creative wind rush in soon.

although i guess since we live in the same city it's plausible that we could do coffee sometime.

You sure you aren't just burned out from school and such? Maybe you just need a break for a bit. I gather that you tend to be busy all the time. Maybe taking some time to slow down and eat the flowers as it were would be a beneficial thing.

Yeah, lots of big changes, and maybe that's part of the problem? I'm also feeling like I need to redefine what's public information and what's not, especially if I talk about the new program.

*laugh* I was sending emails in 1987---that poor benighted young'un! Of course, sometimes they took a week to get to their destination, but... ;-)

Yeah my poor newbie was very quickly schooled.

There is also a dissonance, they don't realize how old I am, and I work to keep it that way. Not that I hide my age, I simply dress differently and interact with them differently then I do most peers. Though I did throw out a reference to The Great Space Coaster this week, and realized no one should get it even if they are the right age.
