I certainly hope you don't have to have important things to say in order to post...mine is almost never important stuff. It's just stuff, stuff about my life.

Ever think about talking to someone about the depression? Here's a lift, just for the moment! ^^^^^^^

I've talked to people about the depression. It's mild, and it doesn't prevent me from functioning too much, it just messes with my focus. I've figured out that grad school is one big lesson in failure.

The main thing I've done with that is find things that give me some sort of satisfaction, like I used to get when I was working. That job well done feeling. I teach one lab a week and I help lead my daughter's girl scout troop. I used to have issues with leading her troop, but then I learned to not let some of the passive-aggressive bitchy moms bother me, and since then it's been a real pleasure and now I look forward to Wednesday nights.

Tomorrow is the birthday bash and we're doing a carnival-style halloween/birthday party in honor of Juliette Low, the founder of Girl Scouts.

I've just finished cooking some brains and then I'm gonna whip up some snot with boogers in it!

Thanks for your concern. It helps to know that people care. I always read your posts, but rarely comment. I enjoy reading them.
