I went back to the clinic for another X-ray today. Unfortunately, my hopes of getting out of the aircast and being able to work next week were dashed. I'm in the boot for another 2 weeks minimum, and while I may (at my own discretion) be able to walk in normal shoes in two, I'm not sure if I'll be able to work then because I can't see my doctor ( Read more... )

After seeing the specialist yesterday, I came home with a nice, shiny new plastic boot. Fortunately, I don't need an actual cast; this one, I can take off for showers and stuff. I get to wear it for a month, and go back in for her to assess how my healing is going ( Read more... )
