It's real fun for me, being adopted, oh yeah.  Like, when I had a dream that my maternal biological grandmother died, so I googled her the next day (in real life), and found a kind of informative article, that mentioned from whence in Europe her parents emigrated.  Then, I got to a part that mentioned her "six grandkids."  It's not that I expected

Aw shit, that sounds really hard. I am sorry about this, not because I could do anything, just that I feel bad my friend is feeling bad. The fact that you had no choice or control in the situation is really damning. And that it turns out your family member wanted the same thing as you, to be family, feels like a wrenching irony to me. You are a tough babe.

Thank you. From time to time, I imagine writing a book about my experience of being adopted. I'd like to be able to describe my feelings in a way that people who haven't been through it, could empathise with it, or whatever.
