i was discussing with my mom and uncle about the renovations i wanted done in my apartment. we discussed measurements and construction and labor costs. sometime after all that talk and calculating, i stood on my balcony and started to look in retrospect.

so it's been a crazy past few weeks and i was a hair close to starting a bitch fit. i was gonna complain how tired i am, that i'm breaking out like a 16 year old struggling with puberty, that i was feeling fat and exhausted. and then, i realized how fortunate i am.

what weekend?

Human beings are funny. We're like this big mess of emotions tangled up in rationalizations. We like to think we can do everything and handle everything all on our own.
