[Alice comes running up, long yellow scarf fluttering behind her. She looks around the nearly deserted Bean - Millennium Park was nearly deserted as the police try to evacuate the city. It was almost worse than an entirely empty city against the bright blue winter sky...]

I suppose we're the calvary.

[Stella wasn't terribly far behind her. The speed of Alice impressed her, so she didn't try to catch up with her if it were possible. But when Stella did manage to catch up, she was a bit out of breath, heels are so hard to run in. The evacuation did spook her to say the least.]

Like there's that many people joining up with us right now with the amount of people leaving the city en mass.

[Alice glances back over her shoulder at Stella, and gives a brief, graceful shrug of her shoulder]

It's certainly better than nothing.

*She nodded in agreement*

Looks like we'll have to deal with whatever comes our way with our little gang here.

[Man, this version of the city had the Bean, but it didn't even have the pawprints still... what a cheap knockoff. Franky could be easily distracted by the events of what happened right before showing up here, but there's bigger stuff to worry about. If anything, he's pretty excited to get a proper brawl on, now.]

I really hope this is the last leg of it, 'cause I'm super sick of getting yanked around with this shit.

[Ninja-Style dancer arrives with Pinkie-Pie and Harvey Finevoice. He looks worn out, like he's been running all over the city.]

[Pinkie bounces up next to the Ninja, looking none the worse for the wear. Only her occasional glances up at the things swooping above betray her awareness of the danger around her.] Hi, everybody! What's going on?

[Harvey, on the other hand, is bringing up the rear with a pistol. He looks tired, tense, and pissed. Upon seeing Linkara, he looks...well, less unhappy, at any rate.] Hey, kid. You all right?

[Derek arrives a little late, having gone to see if he could pass where the fog barrier had been. He also seems to have picked up a skateboard from somewhere. It helped him get to the edge faster, okay? The Agent seems a bit winded as well as he pushed himself to get there and back as quick as possible.]

No barrier where the fog was in the other Chicago. Was able to leave and come back.

[As others began to gather at the Bean, someone just... appears, in midstep before quickly approaching them. It's Copperfield, his usually smirking demeanor unusually solemn]

Before you even say anything, I know. But we're running short on time...[slight twitch of a smile] as usual.

[Alice looks down at her phone again, checks the updates, and then nods determinedly before giving her attention to those gathered around. The look she gives Copperfield is less than friendly and not even remotely trusting, but she quickly forgets about that as she gestures for everyone to come closer]

I think there's a lot of stuff that we need to get done. If everyone's correct, the tech around here is really messed up - I don't think the military is going to come storming in anytime soon. We really need to get word out.

[Glances at Linkara and then at Copperfield] We need that eleventh pillar if we're going to stand a chance, aren't we?

[Suddenly, dog! More or less visible to everyone.]

So?! What are we waiting for! It's up to us!

[Sora nods eagerly in agreement with Missile]
