Another car wreck today. I think those are some of the worst calls we get. This time it was a kid who hit a pedestrian. He smashed through the windshield. Seems his seatbelt hadn’t buckled properly so the lock released on impact. His shoulder was pretty mangled from the strap and his face was just covered with lacerations. It was really hard to

Pineapples, gotcha. It shouldn't be too bad, I don't have that much stuff and Orihime's stuff's on the second floor already so it cuts down on some stairs.

They're at the general downtown, it's about a fifteen minute bike ride from here. Visiting hours will be 10am-6pm once the docs give the ok, which should be today or tomorrow. I can check while I'm there later today if you like.

Considering that more than one hundred people die on our roads on a daily basis, I'm sure the ground meat girl will consider herself lucky in the end. I recently watched a discovery channel programme where a woman had to have her entire face reconstructed after her dog chewed it off, which is much worse, though would certainly function as an interesting conversational icebreaker, afterward.

Wow, yeah, haven't gotten any calls about dogs chewing off faces yet. I am not looking forward to dealing with that. I'm sure the girl's damn happy, I was just commenting on how it's gonna suck to deal with.
