About to checkout this morning and go snowboard for the day. The conditions are about 15 degrees and snowing and they finally groomed everything so today looks promising. I am sad about coming home somewhat but I am really looking forward to some things. A week with Adam and his dad with no contact with anyone else is enough to drive me insane.

Today we woke up and it was raining and foggy to the point of being able to see 10-20 feet. The rain has stopped but the fog is still about 20-30 feet visibility. Adam and I are gearing up to go to the park in just a few minutes because we haven't been out at all today. Hopefully it won't be too bad.

Today was okay. Adam fell and hurt his back. His dad only made one run and decided it wasn't any fun today. I snowboarded for like 5 hours by myself. It was okay. I met lots of people. Sleepy time.

I forgot just how much tuxedos blow until I tried mine on last night. Wow. Who the fuck thought it would be a good idea to make guys wear all that shit. It's so hot and I hate dressing up. Eh, whatever it's only a few hours and then it's done ( Read more... )

Today is the hardest day of my life.

This weekend I went to American University in DC again. I love it in DC. Saturday night was my first time walking around DC when it was snowing, and probably the first time that I had been there when there was snow on the ground. So I woke up this morning at 6:20 when my alarm went off, and of course there was no freezing drizzle like I had hoped for so I must now go to class on just over 4 hours of sleep. This week looks promising. Today was my first day of classes and they all seem pretty good. Lots of reading assignments for all of them, but that's not so bad. At least the literature isn't anyway. The snow is so beautiful. I love it. I didn't go out an play in it until after 11 PM tonight but it was so much fun. Snowboarding in my backyard is still amusing even at the age of 18. First friday night that I have spent inside all evening in a long time. Watched Anchorman, Biohazard (very cheesy alien invader movie), Edward Scissorhands, and Dodgeball. I loved it. It was so nice to stay in and be happy. All the movies were good. I also had some good conversations with people online. I hope it snows.
