Well, this was an interesting week... Work itself was pretty quiet, but the first trainer-guided workouts are now in the books, and at a rate of just under 900cal/hr, I'm feeling like I might actually get somewhere in this weight loss thing. Well, summer camp has come and gone. Overall, it was a pretty good deal. The kids averaged (if I remember) just under three merit badges each, won the water relay with a raft that while not exactly awe-inspiring, wouldn't be mistaken for a submarine, and had a respectable Friday night bonfire. Well, I dunno if it's an accomplishment, or just a reflection on knowing how much stuff really isn't needed for camp, but I managed to fit everything, sleeping bag included, into a single suitcase (though admittedly, it's my largest one). Sigh, another holiday come and gone. Folks came by Tuesday night bearing furniture, then stuck around so we could all witness the Doodah parade.
